EFT Proven to Lower Stress Hormone
Marissa Ignatowich
A study published in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, America's oldest independent psychiatric journal, found that a single one hour session of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) reduced cortisol levels 24% compared with talk therapy (14%) and rest (14%). The subjects who received EFT also demonstrated a greater reduction in anxiety, depression, and over all severity of symptoms. Elevated levels of cortisol, commonly known as the stress hormone, causes a variety of problems not limited to major illnesses, anxiety, weight gain, muscle loss, and premature aging.
This scientific study supporting EFT's effectiveness is great news for people who are aware of the stress they carry but think there is nothing that can be done about it or think it is normal to feel the way they do. EFT is an easy to use, affordable, revolutionary technique that combines ancient Chinese Acupuncture with modern psychology.
Marissa Ignatowich and her company, EFT with Marissa, provide individual EFT coaching and workshops for stress reduction, weight loss, and overall improvement in health and well being. This summer's programs focus on weight loss and physical health through eliminating stress and the emotional triggers that underlie unhealthy eating patterns. With a focus on stress reduction, the results of just one EFT session provide benefits far beyond weight loss and craving reductions. Life becomes easier and more enjoyable as old negative patterns and limiting beliefs are released, energy is balanced, and thinking is clear.
