Cohesive Counseling Opens 2 Locations
Jacqueline Vochis, MA, NCC, LPC announces the opening of Cohesive Counseling with two locations to serve the Fairfield and Wilton areas. The new practice specializes in working with adolescents and children.
Vochis, owner and therapist of the practice, possesses a strong background and professional experience in working in the school systems, both private and public and is a nationally certified counselor and K-12 certified school counselor in the state of Connecticut. She has worked at each educational level (Pre-K through post high school), and has a strong interest in women’s issues, grief, separation, spirituality, parenting oppositional children, self-esteem, adult children of alcoholics, therapy across the lifespan, and counseling through chronic illnesses.
Cohesive Counseling works from a holistic and existential approach, tailoring each session to increase body and breathing awareness, and focusing on self-soothing and meditative practices. “Learning healthy coping skills is the key to combating stress, anxiety, depression, conflict, and other clinical disorders such as eating disorders, mood disorders and codependency/addictions,” advises Vochis.
