Halotherapy, or dry salt therapy, mimics the healing microclimate found in natural salt caves in Europe. In a halotherapy salt room like the one at Revive Salt Therapy & Wellness, in Milford, a machine called a halogenerator crushes pure sodium chloride (salt) into microscopic particles that is absorbed by exposed skin and is inhaled all throughout the respiratory system, acting like a toothbrush to cleanse and detox culprits such as bacteria, viruses, mold and pollen.
