‘Live Green Connecticut!’ Two-Day Festival Focuses on Green Living
'Live Green Connecticut!’ is an annual two-day, green-living, and family festival on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 at Taylor Farm Park in Norwalk. There will be opportunities to learn about the newest in green and renewable technologies, see cool, eco-cars like the Tesla Roadster, and check out the Ford ‘Go Further Tour’. Visitors can get behind the wheel of the Focus Electric and C-MAX Hybrid too.
Enjoy music and delicious local food, including organic ice cream and pizza made from local ingredients. Find out how Connecticut is creating a stronger economy by going green.
Free panels include, Fatter Wallet-Greener Planet, The Future of Electric Cars, How to Find a Green Job and Sustainable Communities Initiative hosted by Mayor Moccia. Live Green CT! will present DEEP Commissioner Dan Esty as the Keynote Speaker on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00am.
Highlights include activities for children, face-painting, petting zoo, over 150 exhibits, fun & friendly atmosphere, and book signings.
Special guests include The Green Living Guy, Seth Leitman and environmental writer and speaker, Jim Motavalli.
