I am a “Stress Buster,” and I am all about empowering people to care for their own health and well-being. I offer coaching with simple hands-on protocols that an individual could find most beneficial for their healing journey. In addition, I am all about empowering animal owners to learn how to care for their beloved animal companions when they are not feeling well. The Dow Integrative Institute offerings are not a substitute for medical treatment, but rather are used as complements to western medicine.

Summary/services offered:
My primary focus at the Dow Integrative Institute is stress health as this is a leading cause of dis-ease in the body. I offer in-studio and online classes, workshops, webinars, and private integrative holistic sessions for your emotional and physical health needs. I integrate Yoga Nidra with Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help (JSJSH), Meditation-in-Motion, Breathwork, Yoga Body Psychology and postural yoga in my classes. I also offer Jin Shin Jyutsu 50-minute treatments for people, and shorter treatments for animals. The animal harmonizing work is done with the owner present so that they can learn the appropriate hand-application protocol. Jin Shin Jyutsu is like Chinese acupuncture but without the needles.
I have created an integrative approach to healing as I actively sought ways to calm my own stress and promote my own wellness throughout my life. I witnessed the suffering that illness may create in my own family, and in turn, wish to help others to find emotional and physical relief. I also have a deep abiding affection for animals and developed my own healing methodology integrating a variety of affective tools.
I am not a purist in any one modality, but rather pull strategies from my wellness toolbox in response to a client’s needs. I may offer a person a series of treatments to ease symptoms and to harmonize the imbalance in the body, incorporating Therapeutic Touch with Jin Shin Jyutsu, while the client listens to a Yoga Nidra. I also bring the experience of working at the Overlook Medical Center’s Integrative Medicine Department to the table.
People should expect symptom relief overtime, as our sessions go to the cause of the imbalance in the body. They should also expect to experience and learn tools for stress awareness and regulation that they can implement for themselves that is non-invasive, no-side effects, and easy to do.
I plan to be offering Jin Shin Jyutsu First Aid, Dow Integrative Animal Health, Meditation-in-Motion, and an ongoing Sage Sisters Circle for women over 50. These class offerings could be in person or in a hybrid setting. I also will continue my holistic health treatments and offer these as part of my ongoing group work.
