Darien Discussion on Learning to Love Your Enemies

Giulia Nesi Tetreau

Giulia Nesi Tetreau

In our world today, we are all challenged in finding how to navigate through the thoughts of injustice, divisiveness, cruelty and harsh, hateful thinking. What does learning to love your enemies really involve? Does it demand more than you feel is possible? Christ Jesus, our Wayshower, tells us to “love your enemies”, so we have the capacity to do it.

Giulia Nesi Tetreau, a Christian Science practitioner or healer and worldwide lecturer, will be speaking on this subject at the Darien Public Library on March 14 at 7pm. She will share how an understanding of God reveals that everyone is the recipient of unlimited good as the loved child of God, ever-present divine Love.

Christian Science is biblically based, and its healing message includes the transforming nature of changing how one thinks about oneself and others from a spiritual perspective. Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science, writes in her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, about this spiritual perspective.

All are welcome to this free talk about the nature of God, divine Love and what it does for each one of us as we grasp a growing understanding of God.
