In October 2017, friends and business partners Christy Abate and Laura Ancona opened The Angel Cooperative, a metaphysical store with the first and only Shungite Room in the U.S. In the following years, the duo expanded to include The Angel Wing, a divine spiritual center. The Angel Wing offers yoga, workshops, sound healing, retreats, certification classes, energy work, reiki, meditation, acupuncture, massage, kirtan and more.

“Our customers have been some of our greatest teachers. We have been open to exploring customer requests and those searches have broadened our product mix of crystals, divination tools and spiritual home décor and boutique items,” says Ancona.

In addition to the wide selection of crystals, tarot/oracle decks, clothing and jewelry, customers can schedule readings in the Shungite Room. The Angel Cooperative hosts myriad expert readers specializing in mediumship, angelic, psychic, akashic and tarot/oracle. Customers can refer to the robust website for descriptions about the readers and types of readings and energy work available.  

“Each of our readers, energy workers, workshop presenters and members of our Retail Angel Team brings a magic and warmth to our sacred space,” comments Abate. “We are in gratitude for their expertise, love and integrity. Our staff and practitioners recognize it is an honor to hold space for our community.” 

As the earth and its inhabitants are the ushering in the Age of Aquarius, The Angel Cooperative has carefully curated some exciting upcoming events. On October 13, multidimensional light language channel JJ Brighton will host a Galactic Starseed Workshop, Lisa Alexander returns with private sound healing sessions and a Tuning Fork Workshop on October 22 and 23, and twin flame ascension expert Dr. Harmony will offer Twin Fame Readings and a Twin Flame Workshop on November 3 and 4. Angel Reader Julie Rosenshein is offering Angel Akashic Readings and Angelspeake Workshops on October 13 and November 12. Celebrate World Singing Day on October 15 with Sita’s Light (kirtan and more). October ends with award-winning author, teacher and healer, Alison DeNicola, leading a Violet Flame Activation Workshop, and sound healer Jen Ripa teaching a Gong Certification Class.

In addition to these special guests, The Angel Cooperative hosts regular monthly events such as Angel Circles, Moon Circles, Ascended Masters Circle, Women’s Circle, Tarot Circle, Gong Baths, Mindful Sundays, community acupuncture with sound healing, guided meditation, workshops and
certification courses. In October, Maria Davis is teaching Reiki I and Reiki II and Christy Abate and Annalisa Breisler are teaching Crystal Healing Certification (open to individuals and practitioners).

The Angel Cooperative is open every day (except major holidays). The store is stocked for the fall season with beautiful boutique items, divinely inspired crystals, new tarot/oracle decks and spiritual jewelry.

“Look for expanded holiday hours in December,” says Abate. “We had many requests last year for extended hours throughout December so we will have longer hours to accommodate our customers.”
