After years in development, Sophia Natural Health Center has launched a Comprehensive Lyme Disease Program. This program is the culmination of over two decades of development, taking the best from current research and lots of experience, as well as Naturopathic and Oriental medical care.

“Not only have I suffered from Lyme disease myself, but so has my entire family and hundreds of patients,” says Dr. Ken Hoffman, DACM, the medical director for Sophia Natural Health Center. “This led me on a journey of discovery to figure out the best approach to helping people overcome this debilitating and completely misunderstood disease.”

The program includes various aspects of in-depth work, unique to each patient, starting with proper testing and evaluation to using a multi-faceted treatment plan incorporating aspects of nutrition, herbs, acupuncture and lifestyle counseling. Hoffman has been in practice for over 20 years and is highly trained in East Asian medicine both in the U.S. and China, as well as functional medicine. He is supported by Dr. Chris Maslowski, senior acupuncturist and Dr. Eli Morales, ND, who was the program director for a well-respected Lyme specialist for many years.
