The Optimal Body Program, created and supervised by long-time Naturopathic Physicians Dr. Marvin Schweitzer and Dr. Amy Wiesner, was designed for those who could use more guidance, more intensive health coaching and ongoing support to start and maintain healthy habits in life, while improving physical and emotional health.
This is a doctor supervised program to optimize health, well-being, body composition, weight and healthy eating habits in an accessible, sustainable, structured and doable way. It helps people to lose weight, feel better, increase energy, decrease stress and inflammation, age gracefully and boost the immune system.
The program includes therapies from Dr. Jeffrey Bland, Founder of the Institute for Functional Medicine and former Director of the Linus Pauling Research Institute, to assist in the clearing of toxins and inflammation; and Dr. Valter Longo, Director of the Longevity Institute at University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Director of the Program on Longevity and Cancer at IFOM in Milan, for longevity, optimized metabolism and healthy, long-term weight loss.
They also address lifestyle habits that are keeping people from being healthy and include the energetic therapies acupuncture and PEMF treatments which help balance energy and transfer information within and between cells to promote optimal metabolism, healing, hormonal and immune system balance.
Included in the program are physician consultations, nutrition guidelines, meditation instruction, exercise recommendations, recipes and pre- and post-treatment measurements of one’s body.
