New Milford Public Library is looking for volunteers to help mend, repair or restore items brought in by people in the community during an upcoming Repair Café. Mechanics, seamstresses, electricians, and IT and tech experts are welcome.

Repair Café's are beginning to pop up worldwide, encouraging salvaging items instead of simply purchasing another new one. Normally held at a fixed location, Repair Cafés bring volunteers and community members together to repair household electrical and mechanical devices, computers, bicycles, clothing and more.
