Ridgefield Host to Annual Wellness Expo
On November 5, the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness Council will host their third Annual Wellness Expo at Ridgefield Recreation Center from 10am-2pm. The expo, open to the public and free for all, will feature car seat inspections, health and wellness vendors, demonstrations, raffles, drug take-back and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of local health resources including massage, neurofeedback, osteopathy, skin care, elder care options, chiropractic, youth activities, nutrition and more. The Ridgefield Police Department will be conducting a car seat inspection in the Founders Hall parking lot with a drug take-back booth and the Recreation Center will feature a series of one-hour demo classes including spin, yoga and Zumba.
Visitors to the expo will receive a passport to present at the vendor tables to be stamped, which will earn them raffle tickets for prizes. In addition, the first 150 attendees will receive swag bags filled with products and offers. The Recreation Center will also be hosting raffles for classes and memberships. Food will be available for purchase from Greens on the Go, featuring healthy options for adults and children. The title sponsors of the 2016 Expo are Elements Massage and Laurel Ridge Health Care Center.
