Homeopathic Medicine Classes to Begin in Fall

Medical doctor Susanne Saltzman is a homeopathic physician in Westchester and Rockland counties who will be teaching a course in homeopathic medicine for the lay person and health professional. Homeopathy is a system of medicine that uses natural substances to stimulate the body’s immune system to heal disease.
Dr. Saltzman has successfully treated thousands of adults and children with a wide range of illnesses for the past 22 years. These include allergies, asthma, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder, autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, ear infections, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, headaches (including migraines), fibromyalgia, hyperactivity and other behavioral problems in children, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, Lyme disease and women’s health issues such as PMS, menopause, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts.

Classes will take place one Saturday a month for 10 months in Tarrytown, beginning in September 2014. A second year is offered and is optional. Students will learn homeopathic theory and philosophy, acute prescribing (first aid, influenza, coughs, ear infections, headaches, etc.) and chronic, constitutional prescribing for those chronic conditions named above. Learn in-depth analysis of the most common remedies used in practice today. Dr. Saltzman will draw on many cases from her own practice to illustrate these remedies.
