Maria Rodrigues and Robin Miller, owners of Escape Salon & Boutique in Bethel and business partners for 26 years, are celebrating the relaunch of their retail boutique. Escape, which stands for Everyone Sincerely Cares About People Everywhere, is also focused on working with fair trade, eco-friendly companies. The boutique carries a selection of handcrafted, sustainable items with each purchase benefiting various causes such as poverty and homelessness.

“Our clients have always encouraged us with our community outreach efforts by supporting numerous charities and causes. We’re so pleased to be able to make a difference in people’s lives. What we’re doing here at Escape allows us to make people feel beautiful on the outside and on the inside,” said Rodrigues.
