Wild Roots Foraging Walk and Potluck
Monthly wild foraging walk followed by a community potluck
Join us for an fun evening 1+ hour guided foraging walk around an organic farm and then uphill through some woodland. Collecting will be allowed for abundant and approved species! If bringing children 6-13 interested in hanging in the young botanists area, please let us know so that we can plan for experimental offering!
APPROPRIATE FOR: All ages. Children need to be accompanied by a caregiver. Children 5 and under free. Unfortunately not appropriate for dogs.
POTLUCK: Join us afterwards for a potluck dinner with farmers, foragers and herbalists!
BRING: For foraging: Please bring your own bags or baskets and dress appropriately to prevent tick and mosquito bites.
For potluck dinner: Plates, bowls and cutlery will be provided. Please bring a dish to share if staying for the potluck and please provide a label with ingredients. As a supporter of regenerative agriculture we encourage bringing dishes featuring homegrown, organic or foraged ingredients in reusable containers.
LOCATION: North Salem, NY (location delivered via email after registration)
