Salt Cave of Darien: Yin Yoga with Jennifer Duncan
Yoga with Salt Therapy
LIMITED TO 4 PEOPLE. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT, BLANKET, TOWEL, 2 BLOCKS, IF YOU HAVE THEM and WEAR WHITE SOCKS AND A MASK (due to CT mandate, mask must remain on during class).
Join Jennifer Duncan, Certified Yoga Instructor, for a 90 minute Yin Yoga class. The twist? Jennifer will be teaching live through video from Florida while you get salt therapy (she moved recently & we just can't let her go!!). Yin Yoga is a slower paced yoga, meditative in nature, in which you sink into poses for 3-5 minutes targeting the connective tissue of the body. The poses are performed while either seated or laying on the yoga mat, with a minimal amount of physical exertion aiming to release physical and emotional tensions that have accumulated in the body due to the stress of work and personal lives. Some benefits of a yin yoga practice include reducing stress and anxiety, improving flexibility both on and off the mat, releasing fascia and improving the flow of chi or prana in the body through meridian stimulation. This is an all levels class, appropriate for beginners and seasoned yogis alike. Please bring items listed above. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
"The yoga was unbelievably great due to the expertise of Jennifer Duncan. She is a natural at teaching yoga. It was a wonderful and fulfilling experience for me." Shirley G.
