Help for Victims of Organized Stalking

The Awareness Project Co., headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, was founded to assist victims of organized stalking and electronic assaults. The organization seeks to provide a comforting environment for individuals to share, receive support, and create opportunities to improve well-being. Founder Carol Knight, LMSW, asks, “How long have you been suffering in silence? Are your concerns often dismissed or not believed?  Would you like to finally be heard without judgment?”

According to Knight, the holidays are a known difficult time for those who feel targeted and alone. Beginning Saturday, November 30 from noon to 1 p.m., the Awareness Project will start hosting monthly teleconference calls featuring uplifting discussions.

These meetings are designed for individuals ready to meet like-minded people with shared experiences in a safe space. “They will serve to encourage, empower, inspire and educate those harmed by organized stalking and electronic harassment,” she affirms. “The group will actively seek solutions to heal physical and emotional pain, develop tools for a healthier and improved quality of life, share our collective talent to expand our resources, and work together to raise awareness.”
