16th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa’s Workshop
Get ready to ring in the holidays at the Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa’s Workshop, proudly presented by Jenny Allen Real Estate at Compass. This much-loved event returns to Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses in Greenwich, from November 29 to December 24, transforming the space into the magical “North Pole on North Street.”
A Festive Start to the Season
This festive event kicks off the season with the “We’re Back Party Days” on November 29 and 30, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Santa, live music, and food trucks. Attendees can enjoy activities such as balloon art, book signings, and meeting adorable miniature horses from Rising Starr Horse Rescue. Don’t miss the Holiday Cheer Station, where both kids and adults can enjoy complimentary drinks provided by Bodhi Bear Apothecary, Bonjo Coffee Roasters, and Val’s Putnam Wines & Liquors.
Santa’s Workshop & Exciting Contests
Inside Santa’s Workshop, families will discover a world of festive fun. Children can write letters to Santa at the Letter Writing Station, sponsored by Greenwich Pediatric Group, and unleash their creativity at the Reindeer Coloring Station, courtesy of Jenny Allen Real Estate at Compass.
New this year is the Reindeer & Santa Coloring Contest, offering a grand prize of roundtrip tickets on Avelo Airlines. Coloring pages can be submitted onsite, and the winners will be announced on Christmas Eve. Another highlight is the “Name the Baby Reindeer Contest,” with the chance to win a Mercedes-Benz Kids Electric Car. A second car will be raffled among those who take photos with Santa.
Meet the Stars of the Festival
The event’s stars, Santa’s live reindeer, will be onsite to delight visitors of all ages. Santa himself will be available for family and pet photos weekdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dog lovers, take note: weekday pet visitors receive a special Doggy Gift Bag filled with treats and goodies.
Supporting a Worthy Cause
This cherished Greenwich tradition also supports Kids In Crisis, a nonprofit helping children and families in need. Proceeds from raffles and photos with Santa contribute to this cause. The event will feature a Giving Tree, where attendees can make additional contributions to brighten the holidays for local children.
