2023 Natural Living Directory Letter From Publisher
Apr 30, 2023 02:00PM ● By Erica MillsErica Mills
What you are holding in your hands (or reading on your screen) is a shining example of the truly wonderful healthy living community that we are lucky to have in the Fairfield and Southern Litchfield Counties area. This year’s Natural Living Directory contains a multitude of different practitioners and businesses who have made it their mission to bring health and wellness to all who seek it.
I would like to challenge our readers that love Natural Awakenings to contact at least three of these practitioners for consultations—or even just a conversation. Say you heard about them in Natural Awakenings. They will love to hear it! I get to speak to each of them myself and they are a wonderful community of people with helpful and insightful experiences to share. They care about healing and helping people be the best they can be.
Have you heard of genomics? We can now pinpoint an individual’s health by studying their genes, helping personalize care in new, exciting ways. On page 16, take a deep dive into the ways genomics can change patient outcomes and quality of life.
The term “implant illness” has become more known in recent years, with the mysterious symptoms that many women experience after breast augmentation. While it is still being researched, there is much to be said for the positive health outcomes many women experience after removing the implants and detoxing their bodies. Learn about signs and symptoms, plus detoxification options to get well again, on page 20.
On page 25, read about Master Healer and educator Eilis Philpott, who will be teaching the high frequency energy healing modality, 13th Octave LaHoChi, in Newtown this month. Then, she will travel to Ireland (her home country) to teach the modality for the first time in that country. You may also recognize Nicole Miale, our former Publisher, who will be student-teaching with Eilis in Ireland. How exciting!
Starting on page 38, the Natural Living Directory includes Practitioner Profiles and Business Spotlights to introduce you to the people who are eager to be part of your “Wellness Dream Team”.
Don’t forget you can read all of these articles and more on our website at
eNaturalAwakenings.com. Share articles with your friends and family, connect with these local wellness gurus online and stay curious about new modalities and businesses. You never know how one conversation could alter the trajectory of your health!
To your continued health and wellness,
Erica
