Summary/services offered: Dr. Verma specializes in treating patients with Lyme disease and other vector-borne infections, women’s health, ADD/ADHD, GI conditions, MTHFR, mood imbalances, allergies, fatigue and hormonal imbalances. Therapies she prescribes include herbal medicines, nutritional therapeutics, homeopathic medicines and low dose immunotherapy. To obtain an accurate diagnosis, she makes use of in-depth functional laboratory testing and practices the art of medicine. Capable of integrating her therapies with a conventional medical treatment plan, Dr. Verma’s extensive experience allows her to bridge the gaps between these two approaches.

What drew you to this profession? I was searching for more. More ways to connect with my patients, to give them the answers and solutions to their health concerns, and give them the support they need. People deserve to have answers to their health concerns, and the utmost quality of care.

How does your work differ from others in your profession? Patients get the time and attention they need for their health, both physically and emotionally. 

What should someone expect from working with you? One will receive a supportive physician that they have long needed, as well as attention and support. Each patient I see receives personalized care involving research-based treatments and therapies from my own clinical experience and success.

What changes do you have planned for 2022? I will continue to provide all that my patients need, and stay current with the latest research.

What is most important for Natural Awakenings’ readers to know? They will have a doctor that listens and will support them in their journey to regaining all aspects of health. My success lies not only in identifying and treating the physiological cause of each individual’s condition, but also in spending time to get to know my patients, educating them on how to make effective lifestyle changes and providing the insight and support each person needs to maintain those changes.
