Litchfield County Harvest Festival
Celebrate fall with the 2nd Annual Litchfield County Harvest Festival, October 3, from 10am to 4pm, at the Alain White Field/Lion Pavilion, in Bantam. Get in the mood for fall with baked goods, all made by the Litchfield County Creating Hope members. Local vendors will have fall favorites available to attendees to support.
Katie LaPointe, the President of Litchfield County Creating Hope, is the Event Chair for the festival. “The first Harvest Festival had a great turnout, with 42 vendors and over 500 people visiting throughout the day. We hope this year’s event will be even better and provide more parking and room to spread out additional vendors,” says LaPointe.
Some of the vendors for 2021 include: Kraftwhich Food Truck, The Ocean Alchemist, The Traveling Buddies, Sweet Nelsons, Color Street, Break the Mold, Honey Bear Bakery, Bantam Historical Society, Heidi Martin hand-crafted jewelry, Steve Ardussi (personal benefits advisor) and Photo Solutions Plus LLC - Suzy Bronson.
Litchfield County Creating Hope is a nonprofit that raises awareness for mental health issues and helps those affected by suicide. Vendor fees for this event help provide scholarships to students pursuing their education in the mental health field. They also help provide educational programs to Litchfield County Citizens.
