During the month of October, Hunter Healing Hands will offer private, discounted shamanic healing sessions for suicide survivors. 

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. In 2018, 48,344 Americans died by suicide and there were an estimated 1.4 million suicide attempts. The loved ones left behind after a suicide often suffer from many questions and unanswered issues around the death of their loved one. They often have guilt, unresolved feelings and remorse. Adding to their burden, they must deal with the stigma around suicide in interactions with people and the public.

Jessica Hunter of Hunter Healing Hands has personal experience with this type of loss and hopes to help with the healing for many others. During October, those who have lost a loved one to suicide can experience a shamanic healing session at the discounted rate of $100 for two hours. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
