Summary/services offered:
Lyme Connection is an all-volunteer, community-based task force providing support and
resources to patients and their families coping with tick-borne disease. Programs include a free monthly evening support group; an annual patient conference and health fair at WCSU; BLAST Prevention Program community education programs and materials; and library author discussions and seminars.

What changes do you plan in 2020?
Lyme Connection has developed an all inclusive Tick Prevention Packet, including a tweezer with magnifying glass, proper tick removal info card, tick ID card and a BLAST prevention magnet. We will be hosting the 14th Annual Tick-borne Disease Patient Conference and Health Fair at WCSU in Danbury on Friday, May 15. This year’s program includes Dr. Richard Horowitz as keynote speaker and Kris Newby, author of Bitten and recipient of Lyme Connections 2020 Courage Award.

What is most important for Natural Awakenings’ readers to know?
All the Lyme Connection events and services can be found on our website: LymeConnection.org. Join us in protecting the health of our communities by preventing tick-borne illness and supporting patients and their families.
