New Breath and Body Work Studio in Shelton

Exhale Studio has opened in Shelton, featuring daily meditation and yoga classes, weekly sound healing and more. Whether you’re an experienced practitioner, a beginner seeking to develop a practice, or curious about what keeps people inspired and motivated to meditate regularly, this studio offers the resources, support and expertise to make it happen.

Exhale was founded by Laura Marasco. After she developed her own regular practice of mindful “unplugging” through meditation, Marasco wanted everyone to have the chance to show up mindfully for their goals and desires, families and workplaces.

“That is why everything about Exhale is designed to help make breath and body work more accessible, physically and philosophically,” she says.

Teachers are experienced and most are certified in more than one area of expertise. They come from diverse backgrounds that include study across the U.S. as well as in India and with some of the world’s foremost trainers and mentors.

The studio is also creating new jobs in the community by improving a formerly vacant storefront, enhancing a walkable commercial district and building partnerships with adjacent professional and medical communities.

Classes begin in early November. An unlimited monthly pass allows students to try meditation, sound healing, mindful yoga, yoga nidra, vinyasa flow, restorative yoga and more. A full class schedule can be found at ExhaleUSA.com. Corporate rates are available upon request.
