Embody the Sacred and River’s Edge Healing Center will host a special ceremony on November 9 to create a sacred mandala full of prayers, intentions, gratitude, flowers, candies, seeds and more. The intent is to celebrate gratitude and honor our connection to Nature and Mother Earth. Taking place from 3:30 to 6pm, the event will donate all profits to Sandy Hook Promise and River’s Edge Healing Center.

This offering is based on the traditions of the Andes; participants will be creating a despacho, or sacred offering bundle, that will then be burned to honor Pachamama, our Mother Earth and the Creator. This ceremony is an uplifting experience. Come share positive intentions, gratitude and blessings for the Earth, family, community and each other. Attendees will also share prayers, medicine songs, a drum journey and cleansing.

Children 10 and older are welcome with their parents. Please bring a special flower, candy or other sweet to contribute your own special offering. There is a requested donation of $35 per person, although children are free.
