PAWS Celebrates Pets and Pet Lovers in Norwalk
On October 4 from 5:30 to 8:30pm, PAWS Animal Welfare Society will celebrate all its volunteers and adoptive pet parents in Norwalk. The Celebration of Happy Tails promises to be an evening of food, drink and prizes, with an opportunity for attendees to share stories, photos and videos of all the pets who have changed their lives for the better.
The evening includes appetizers and drinks, a raffle and an auction of tickets to see Jersey Boys on Broadway. Tickets are $75 each, and there also is an opportunity to sponsor a PAWS staff member to attend by purchasing a ticket for them.
PAWS is a no-kill animal shelter dedicated to the rescue and adoption of our community’s homeless and abused dogs and cats. The organization rescues and re-homes approximately 100 dogs and 500 cats annually. Many of the dogs faced euthanasia at local pounds and most of the cats are strays and abandoned cats that roam the streets. A portion of the pets that come to PAWS have been relinquished by their owners who are no longer able to care for them.
