TLC MidSummer Soiree & Story Telling

Sticks and Stones Farm in Newtown will host a TLC MidSummer Soiree & Story Telling event on August 2, from 4 to 10pm. All are welcome to enjoy some of the fun activities or stay until the fiery end. The suggested donation for this family-friendly event is $10.

The event’s schedule is as follows: 4pm, Yoga Dance led by Carol Shwidock of Harmony Yoga; 5pm, Meditation and Nature Walk led by Katherine Silvan; 6pm, Potluck; 7:30pm, TLC Story Telling by TLC members - “Holy Shift!” moments; 8:30pm, Community Campfire and Drumming with Matthew Broad. Please bring a chair (if you have one), a delicious dish to share at the potluck and an instrument for the campfire.

Sticks and Stones Farm is Newtown’s best kept secret—a magical retreat getaway surrounded by 60 acres of woods, with public hiking trails, cabin rentals, facility rental, private events, workshops and classes.
