Women’s Sustainability Networking Event
To inspire conversation on how individuals and organizations are bringing sustainability to your doorstep, Earth, Wine & Fi-nance will take place on April 11 from 6 to 8pm at Serendipity Labs in Stamford. This women-only networking evening is hosted by Envest Asset Management.
Experts in their fields, the panelists are leaders of Connecticut-based enterprises with a mission to make our lives more sustainable. Guest speakers include newly elected CT Senator Will Haskell and the panel will include the following: Samantha Dynowski, Executive Director of Connecticut Chapter Sierra Club; Jen Gorin, Founder of Impact Growth Partners; Analiese Paik, Founder of Sustainne; and Rhonda Sherwood, Founder of Sherwood Green Life.
Attendees will learn: a deeper understanding of current legislative actions taken by policy makers and change agents; how local businesses are creating products that are high quality, cost competitive and sustainable; how companies are integrating sustainability into their business strategy; the types of products that are often overlooked that could be hazardous to the environment and your health; and how to incorporate sustainability into your lifestyle.
The event costs $20, including hors d’oeuvres and clean-crafted wine from Scout & Cellar. All proceeds benefit the Sierra Club of Connecticut.
