Terrain has launched a horticulture lecture series led by Angela Trucks, Terrain Westport Designer and Master Gardener, with nine events from April 13 through July 13. Lectures will be held in the café or nursery, weather permitting, and are offered on select Saturdays from 9 to 10:30am. Coffee is included. Following the lecture, participants may shop for relevant nursery products at a 10 percent discount. As a gift for the gardener in your life, lectures may also be purchased individually online for $20.

Dates and lecture topics are as follows: April 13 – Growing a Vegetable Garden; April 27 – Pruning for Health and Beauty; May 11 – Rose Growing 101; May 18 – Not Your Usual Shrubs; May 25 – Gardening for Color with Annuals; June 1 – Shade Gardening; June 8 – Flutter and Buzz, Planting for Pollinators; June 15 – Adding Distinction with Containers; July 13 – The Beauty of Grasses.
