Keep Holiday Stress at Bay at Saltana Cave
Saltana Cave in Ridgefield is offering a series of events in December to help you embark on your spirit’s journey through rejuvenation and serenity during the busy holiday period.
Salt and Soul Yoga takes place on December 5 from 7 to 8:15pm, with Barbara Daversa, E-RYT 200. You will mindfully stretch, breathe and move through a Vinyasa practice. All levels are welcome. Bring a yoga mat and white socks. The fee is $40 a person.
On December 9 from 7 to 8:30pm, join Anna Pogoda for an evening of immersion into sound, relaxation, rejuvenation and peace. Within the Himalayan salt cave, she will be playing crystal bowls, Native American medicine drums and Koshi chimes, accompanied by nature sounds composed by local Grammy Award-winning Paul Avgerinos. The charge is $65 per person.
An Evening of Meditation and Crystal Bowl Healing will take place on December 14 at 7pm. This powerful meditation, infused with crystal bowl sound healing, will help remove blockages of energy. Start to practice self-care in new, more fulfilling ways. The meditation is led by Svaha and Manjushri, certified teachers and IYS energy healers from Shanti Mission in Australia. Crystal bowl healing is provided by Pogoda, a crystal bowl practitioner. This event is $80 a person.
A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to the events. Wear white socks to all workshops in the salt cave. Space is limited, so registration is required.
