Dinner Under the Stars with CT NOFA

On June 10 from 5 to 10pm, the Connecticut Chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association (CT NOFA) will host its Farm Fling & Awards Dinner in Northford. The organic-themed evening will take place at the Heritage Homestead, a private family farm estate situated on the rolling hills of 3B Ranch in Northford, will offer attendees a farm dinner under the stars to benefit the CT NOFA. 

The meal, sponsored by Bourassa Catering in Wallingford, features a seasonally-aware, locally-sourced menu that will include fine meats all sustainably-raised at 3B Ranch. Tours of the farm, live music, silent auctions and the presentation of this year’s Organic Leadership Award will all be part of the festivities. Proceeds from the event will go toward CT NOFA’s mission of ensuring the growth and viability of organic agriculture, food and land care in Connecticut. 

The fee is $125 per person, six tickets for $625, or a table for 10 for $100 a person.

CT NOFA is a growing community of farmers, gardeners, land care professionals, businesses and consumers that encourages a healthy relationship to the natural world. They have promoted local and organic agriculture since 1982.
