Organika Kitchen Thrives in Southport
Organika Kitchen, a restaurant offering organic, vegan, gluten and GMO-free meals, opened in Southport at the end of the summer and is thriving, offering new catering and juice cleanse options, says manager Dimitri Pantzos.
Launched by an experienced Fairfield County restaurant family that includes two passionate long-time vegetarians and graduates of the Hippocrates Institute (Pantzos’ mother and aunt), Organika Kitchen offers a comprehensive menu offering organic, vegan, gluten-free and GMO-free selections, all made in the on-site kitchen. From protein bowls, salads and soups to smoothies, cold pressed juices and acai bowls to gluten-free pasta, pizza and healthy, unrefined dessert treats, everything is made in house. Pantzos says they also source ingredients as much as possible from local farmers.
Organika Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Catering is now available; custom meal planning as well as a juice cleanse program will begin soon.
