Acupuncture: Myth and Reality Workshop at Kure Spa
On September 19 from 6:30-7:30pm, James Fitzpatrick, LAc, Kure Spa’s resident acupuncturist and a former clinic director at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute, will discuss the history, theory and practice of acupuncture. A Q&A session will follow after the presentation. This workshop is free and open to the public.
While acupuncture is classified as a form of alternative medicine in the West, acupuncture is considered a normative science and medicine in Asia. Commonly used for pain relief in the U.S., it can also used to treat a wide range of conditions, including fibromyalgia, infertility, arthritis and cancer.
