Beach Season Opens with LifePath Yoga
LifePath Yoga and Wellness founder Nina Antolino has announced the start of beach yoga season at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. Beginning May 7 and continuing until September 24, each Saturday Antolino will lead a morning of beach yoga and meditation from 8:30 to 9:45am.
All levels are welcome. The class is offered in partnership with City of Norwalk, Parks & Recreation so no beach pass is required. When you arrive, inform the beach guard that you are there for beach yoga.
Attendees can buy a 4-class card for $70 (expires after two months), 8 classes for $130 (expires after three months) and $20 per drop-in for a class. All class cards expire at the end of the beach season. If there is inclement weather, classes will be held indoors at LifePath Yoga & Wellness’ studio in Norwalk.
Antolino was introduced to yoga and meditation 15 years ago as she searched for a way to “slow down” and find balance in her fast-paced career. After being diagnosed with a chronic illness, she attended a week-long Mindfulness Meditation for Stress Reduction class which led to her 200-hour Interdisciplinary Yoga Certification through the Nosara Institute in 2000.
Her teaching draws from the traditions of Vinyasa, Kripalu, Iyengar, Yin and Viniyoga, with an emphasis on balance. Antolino is a certified Reiki master, certified empowerment life coach and mindfulness meditation practitioner. She also integrates Reiki with yoga to enhance her classes.
