Natural Awakenings Fairfield & Southern Litchfield Counties

Forza 5 Flourishing in Wilton’s Cannondale Village

Forza 5 Holistic & Healing Center moved to Wilton last fall and is now offering an array of services and products for the community. Part shop, part studio, part healing center, Forza 5 was conceived by founder Lisa Tenore as a community-gathering spot for like-minded people.

“I built this business but it’s everyone’s space,” Tenore explains. “No matter who you are and what you’re going through, you’re not alone. This space is to connect and help bring people back to consciousness.”

The downstairs of the main building is a combination tea bar, shop and healing space offering herbs, oils, tinctures, a lending library and an array of goods for purchase. Many decorative and apparel items are repurposed from their original form. Upstairs is a yoga and meditation studio, also the site of workshops and classes led by area practitioners. A separate building across the driveway is a healing space with a view of the river; this space is available for interested practitioners to rent as needed.

Free meditations are offered Sunday mornings at 8:30am followed by family yoga class at 11:30am. Tuesday nights feature regular meeting groups for families and individuals struggling with addiction, followed by yoga instruction.

Tenore is a licensed physical trainer, Reiki practitioner, shamanic healer and yoga teacher. To find out what workshops, classes and activities she and others are planning at Forza 5, check their website regularly.
