Cosmic Rhythms

Happy holidays. Open discussion is favored during early December with Mercury making contact to Uranus and Jupiter—keep the lines of communication open because astonishing (good) information may come your way. Honesty and candor also seem to be on tap; it’s possible to surprise someone with frankness or to be surprised. Just use a little discrimination so this doesn’t veer to be over-the-top, especially in the workplace and around coworkers at office parties and the like. Also be advised this humorous vibe can have people cracking inappropriate jokes that might not be the most politically correct. With Mars traversing Libra, know people can easily be annoyed by a lack of social graces now, even if they are good enough to cover it with a forced smile.
This outspoken Sagittarian vibe hits a climax at the New Moon on December 11; with this energy, there can be a real need for truth, but we also don’t want to go overboard either with Jupiter egging us on. Noteworthy as well is the penchant for excess that can be part of this energy—which may be a recipe for dietary overindulgence. Make it a point to exercise good judgment regarding where to selectively indulge; also bear in mind that it can be easy to take it too far the other way where the nutritional content/calorie count of every little thing is put under a microscope. Strive for a more holistic perspective on dietary matters.
Black Magic Woman Venus in Scorpio scores romantic, sexy interludes with both Neptune and Pluto between December 11-17; whether you want to be on the “naughty” or “nice” list, glam it up with some fantasy to intensify your bond with a partner. This vibe can be very tantric—a merger of spiritual and erotic—so put on some sexy music and help real magic can happen.
Around December 19, be careful with your words and do not say anything you might regret as Mercury in Capricorn finds itself in contact with Pluto and Uranus. Something unexpected can fly out of your mouth now if you have been holding it back. It’s better to exercise a little extra verbal self-restraint so any potential for upset feelings and/or family upheaval can be averted.
A full moon in Cancer occurs on Christmas Day this year, stabilizing family situations. Contact to forgiving, accepting Neptune should help everyone to embrace the spirit of the season and try using some soothing music to set the ambiance for a peaceful, serene feeling because this could work wonders. Notably, there is also somewhat of a communicable illness vibe around this Moon when it comes to family, so maybe keep the wipes or sanitizer handy and don’t get too close if somebody is sniffling or sneezing—especially on Christmas Eve.
