Fragrant Basil Juice Café in Norwalk will hold its first Wellness Matters workshop on December 7 from 6:30 to 8pm. Owners Sean and Tanisha Williams, passionate about food and health, opened their café as a part of their community service and now offer the Wellness Matters series to expand that mission. A number of speakers who are professionals in their respective fields will cover a broad range of wellness-related topics during the coming months.

December’s speaker, Robert Grady, will be speaking from the gut about the gut and your health. Grady is a retired Navy chief petty officer, former Navy command fitness coordinator and healthy food choices advocate. He is also district manager of Natural Awakenings in Fairfield and New Haven/Middlesex counties.

All the Wellness Matters workshops will be held at Fragrant Basil Juice Café. Future dates and times will be posted on FragrantBasilJuiceCafe.com. Light refreshments will be provided. Donations are welcome.
