Patricia Singer, MS, LAc, will host a monthly auricular (ear) acupuncture clinic for people who are new to acupuncture or who would like to experience specific acupuncture ear points designed to alleviate tension and relax. The first three clinics have been scheduled at Total Life Care Center in Norwalk for the second Saturday of each upcoming month on October 10, November 14 and December 12.

Patients sit on chairs and receive several minutes of individual time while five acupuncture needles are applied to specific points in each ear. You can arrive for treatment anytime within the 10:30am to 1pm clinic window. Each patient can relax, breathe or meditate while listening to soft background music for 30 to 45 minutes before the needles are removed. Participants can leave whenever they feel ready. One, two or three sessions can be purchased in advance: one for $40, two for $60 or three for $75.

The auricular points have been proven to help treat people with post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, addiction and other conditions such as insomnia, depression, weight loss and stress reduction.
