Natural Awakenings Fairfield & Southern Litchfield Counties

Plan B Burger Bar Opens in Fairfield

Connecticut-based chain, Plan B Burger Bar, has launched its sixth location in the state with the opening of a new restaurant in Fairfield. Plan B is a restaurant that features beef, burger, bourbon and beer. In addition, there are also Plan B outlets in Springfield, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C. The restaurant is known for its fresh beef, ground in-house twice a day and not using any pre-formed or frozen burgers. It also has a selection of all-natural, boutique bourbons and American craft beers.

The Fairfield location officially opened to the public in August in the former U.S. Post Office building on the Post Road. “We’re very excited,” manager Scott Pepe said. “It’s been a long time coming.” Renovations to the existing property took much longer than initially expected to complete. All but the facade of the former postal building, constructed in 1936, was demolished. The facade has been incorporated into what will be a multi-tenant commercial structure. Plan B is the anchor tenant.

Plan B Burger Bar, 1262 Post Rd, Fairfield, is open 11:30am to 10pm for kitchen service, and until 1am for the bar, Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the kitchen is open until 11pm and the bar until 2am. PlanBBurger.com
