Naturopathic Medicine Week at University of Bridgeport
In honor of the 1st Annual Naturopathic Medicine Week (October 7-13, 2013), the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM) will be hosting an event with Keynote Speaker Dr. John Furlong. The free “Autism/ADD” seminar will take place on October 10, 2013 at 6pm at the John J. Cox Student Center’s Social Room. Complimentary visits to the Pediatric shift at the Naturopathic Clinic will be raffled off at the seminar.
Naturopathic physician John Furlong, a graduate of Washington-based Bastyr University’s Naturopathic Medical School with 25 years of experience, has presented at medical conferences across the U.S., as well as in Brazil and Spain, teaching about detoxification, laboratory evaluation for stress, cross-cultural use of botanical medicines and genetic testing to help design preventive health plans in addition to Autism and ADD. Dr. Furlong currently practices in Milford, CT and is an adjunct faculty member at UBCNM.
