The UB Clinics provide an integrated clinic environment where clients have the opportunity to be evaluated by interns representing each of the four health science professions (Naturopathic medicine, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, and Dental Hygiene) with an on-site clinic service. Integrated clinic sessions are comprised of two separate appointments. The first appointment allows the interns to gather information about the client including the chief complaint, a medical history, and preliminary examinations by each intern. Each intern evaluates the information gathered during the initial appointment and develops a treatment plan intended to address the individual's needs. The four interns and the supervising clinicians then work together to create a single, integrated and holistic plan for the patient. The client returns for the second appointment one week later to receive their specific individualized recommendations, discuss expected outcomes, and schedule further treatment appointments with the UB Clinics as necessary. UB Clinics provide healthcare services to all of Fairfield County and beyond for the cost of a typical co-pay, regardless of insurance status.
