Greenwich Native Returns To Show Visionary Art
Brooke Ann Haggerty-Cottle
The First Bank Of Greenwich, located in Cos Cob, CT is showcasing the art of Brooke Ann Haggerty-Cottle through December as part of its community outreach program. It is unique for a bank to team with an artist like Haggerty-Cottle, for her art combines nature, yoga and meditation.
A long time practitioner and teacher of yoga, Brooke Ann accredits the development of her artistic gift to yoga and meditation. Her journey, starting with a BFA from UCONN, was not average. In between freelancing for graphics, advertising, marketing, and even catering companies, she slowly built her own stable of these visual explorations in order to live out her own spiritual experience. These works have now been recognized on a national level. Previously published by the nation’s greeting card leader for inspired art and nature, Leanin' Tree of Colorado, Brooke Ann launched her own note card line at the 2009 National Stationery Show in New York. The debut was nominated for Best New Product.
More recently, she dotted her third project for Benjamin Moore Paints® Color Trends for 2013. Keeping active in many artistic directions: decorative, faux, murals, traditional portraits as well as Brooke Ann's signature Soul Energy Portaits™, a venue like this helps an artist communicate to the public all the services she provides to the private sector and to businesses.
Prints, note cards and stationery items are available for purchase. To learn more about the art and the artist's process, visit SacredEarthMission.com or SoulEnergyPortrait.com.
