Norwalk Springs into Wellness
Thanks to overwhelming interest, Try Norwalk Naturally returns to Fat Cat Joe on Saturday, March 28 with an expanded roster of holistic businesses and a full day of free lectures, hands-on healing, exhibitors’ tables and refreshments. Come learn about Active Release Technique, Acupuncture, Aikido, Ayurveda, Environmental Activism, Herbal Healing, Naturopathic Medicine, Rowing, Transformational Literature, Waldorf Schooling and Yoga at this unique gathering of Norwalk’s alternative practitioners. Participants include environmental think tank The Aquarium, the new Clover Hill School, Centre for Natural Healing, The Magdalene, New England Physical Care, Norwalk Rowing Club, Path to Healing, Pymander, Saraswati’s Yoga Joint, The Stand, and others to be announced. The public will have an opportunity to sample organic living foods; receive a de-stressing marma point treatment or soothing chair massage; attend a series of lectures on such subjects as naturopathy’s effectiveness in treating chronic diseases; how the Graston Technique resolves chronic pain, and why one should consider a Waldorf program for early childhood education. During the day there will be a chance to ask questions, mingle and enjoy free refreshments. A drawing will be held for a free Ayurvedic assessment, as well as other offerings.
