Free Speaking of Green Workshops

The Center for Green Building in Bridgeport announces its Spring 2009 Speaking of Green Series, covering the many facets of the evolving environmental movement. Every Thursday evening the Center will host a free workshop, seminar, discussion or movie screening, featuring professionals from related industries sharing their expertise. The next Speaking of Green Series, on April 16, will consider Family Health and the Impact of Toxins in the Home, asking the questions: “What are the Toxins? What are the Symptoms? What are some Solutions?” The speaker will be Dr. Gary S. Gruber, Naturopathic Physician, who is recognized as Fairfield County’s leading Environmental Medicine voice. Dr. Gruber provides healthy, natural, holistic solutions for today’s leading diseases and illnesses, providing clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, physical medicine and counseling. His practice serves a wide range of patients and deals with acute and chronic illnesses. Some future issues that the center’s workshops will focus on are: Solar Power, Wind Power, Public Transportation, Environmental Stewardship, Nutrition and much more.
