MRSA No Match for Guardian
Over the past year there have been headlines about Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), referred to as a “superbug.” MRSA is a bacterium that causes infections and is resistant to commonly used antibiotics, making it tougher to treat than normal strains. Because it is spread by contact, it can be transmitted by touching a person or an object carrying the bacteria. Guardian Air, a leading line of air purifiers made by RGF, has proven to be a cost effective, safe way of destroying this bacteria. The Guardian Air line of products has been tested extensively by Kansas State University, including on its effectiveness against MRSA. The testing revealed a 99+% reduction of the MRSA bacteria. Since the Guardian Air purifiers create oxidizers that seek and destroy germs on surfaces as well as the air, it’s uniquely qualified to address a surface-borne problem such as MRSA. Guardian Air became well known for its effectiveness in countering the SARS Virus in China almost seven years ago, and subsequently was found to solve residential and commercial problems such as environmental odors, VOCs, molds, bacteria and viruses. This technology works quickly and is installed in the supply side of a building’s ductwork, producing oxidizers sent throughout the ductwork into every room.
