Ann’s Place Ladies Golf Classic Seeking Golfers, Sponsors
On Monday, June 15, the Danbury-based Ann’s Place, the home of I CAN Cancer Support and Resource Center, will hold its fourteenth annual Ladies Golf benefit at Richter Park in Danbury. Anyone looking for a round of golf in a delightful setting—or interested in sponsoring this fundraising event— is invited to participate. Not only is the Ladies Golf Classic one of the top ladies tournaments in Connecticut, it is played at the beautiful Richter Park Golf Course, named by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Places to Play” in 2008-2009. Due to its popularity, ladies are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as this is a first come, first served event. Players will have the opportunity to compete for Net and Gross Individual prizes. A variety of exciting raffle and silent auction items will be offered. All proceeds of the event will benefit Ann’s Place, the home of I CAN, providing comfort and support to people and families living in the greater Danbury region who are living with cancer. All services are free of charge and serve as a welcome beacon for family, friends and neighbors who are confronted with the fears and uncertainties of cancer.
Benefit hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A $175 player fee includes greens fee, cart, foursome photo, prizes, breakfast, lunch and Awards Banquet. For registration or sponsorship information contact Lori Zezza, Associate Development Director at 203.790.6568 or email [email protected].
