Natural Awakenings Sponsors 2012: Time for Change Movie Screening February 6

The next Natural Connections event is a joint partnership between the Fairfield and Westchester/Putnam editions of Natural Awakenings. Join us for an exclusive movie screening of 2012: Time for Change, held on Sunday February 6 from 3-6:30 p.m. at Wainwright House in Rye, NY.

Director Joao Amorim explains, “2012: Time for Change” presents an optimistic alternative to apocalyptic doom and gloom. As conscious agents of evolution, we can redesign post-industrial society on ecological principles to make a world that works for all. Rather than breakdown and barbarism, 2012 heralds the birth of a regenerative planetary culture where collaboration replaces competition, where exploration of psyche and spirit becomes the new cutting edge, replacing the sterile materialism that has pushed our world to the brink”.
 

The movie will be followed by a guest panel for Q&A, community conversation and networking with local non-profit exhibitors, to exchange ideas about how to be the change we seek in our own community.
