Changing Your Mood without Changing Your Budget

“Changing Your Mood without Changing Your Budget,” the first program in Connecticut to introduce Oriental dietary wisdom as a mood-changer, will take place on Friday, March 5 in Westport, hosted by Yan Ting of Bio-Psychology Associates. Yan is one of the few psychotherapists in the country to combine conventional psychology with Chinese Medicine, whose remedies are based upon successful clinical practices over thousands of years, as opposed to the results of lab experiments on animals. She offers psychotherapy, acupuncture, oriental dietary counseling, floral tea, and meridian body work to help her clients to decrease their dependency on pharmaceutical drugs, which are often loaded with side effects. “Our body is the temple of our soul, and we have to strengthen our body to nourish our mind. People have to learn how to choose the right food for their unique body-mind system,” Yan says. Participants will learn how to alter their food choices to change the quality of their mood, and how to reap the benefit of customized floral teas. A complimentary gift will be given to each participant at the end of the program.

This program will be held at 127 King’s Highway North, Westport, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oriental luncheon will be served. Free. Reservation required: Call 203.558.6169 or email [email protected].
