Kaia Yoga Offers Tools to Support a Pure Life

Gina Norman, founder of Kaia Yoga, has been a leader in the yoga community for over 25 years, creating spaces where individuals can explore wellness through embodied practices. Since opening its first studio in 2006, Kaia Yoga has grown into a network of 10 locations across Connecticut and New York, offering over 400 weekly classes—from meditation to hot vinyasa—led by more than 145 dedicated teachers.
Kaia Yoga was established with the intention of helping others live a more “pure” life—mindful, centered and free from the stress of everyday living. Each studio is designed as a sanctuary for the body, mind and spirit. The name “Kaia,” meaning pure in Sanskrit, reflects this guiding philosophy.
In addition to group classes, Kaia Yoga offers Yoga Alliance-certified 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs, a mentorship pathway, and specialty workshops including Thai massage, sound healing, meditation and more.
As a longtime teacher and local mom, Norman brings warmth, compassion and a grounded perspective into all aspects of Kaia Yoga. With over 1.5 million students since its founding, Kaia Yoga continues to inspire transformation and foster a strong sense of community through the power of yoga practice. Committed to accessibility and service, Kaia Yoga also offers several free community and donation-based classes throughout the year, along with online meditations.
