Shamanic Events Invite Spiritual Connection and Empowerment

Deana Paqua of Embody the Sacred is hosting three transformative events this June, each designed to deepen spiritual awareness and expand personal healing practices.

On June 18 at 7 p.m., join Paqua at the Hummingbird Healing Center in Westport for a Summer Solstice Shamanic Drum Journey Circle. This 90-minute session ($65) celebrates the arrival of summer with drumming, prayer, intention-setting and song. Open to all experience levels, the circle supports connection with personal helping spirits and the healing energy of Mother Earth. Participants are encouraged to bring a drum or rattle; extras will be available on-site.

Then, on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Paqua will lead a Chumpi Stones Workshop for Energetic Empowerment and Spiritual Awakening at The Angel Cooperative in Ridgefield. This full-day event ($225) introduces sacred Andean stone practices, with techniques to support healing, alignment and spiritual growth. The workshop also weaves in numerology, sacred geometry, chakras and elemental energies for a rich cross-cultural experience. No prior experience or purchase of stones is required.
